Current gynecological prosthetics used to support pelvic organs, commonly known as pessaries, date back to 1,800 B.C. They come in different shapes and sizes and have not changed in 50+ years. Currently pessary fittings are done by finger measurements and are not customized to a patient’s exact needs for their body.
Cosm’s solution is designed to reduce symptoms of PFDs in patients by providing a personalized approach to pelvic care.
